In August of 2025 I decided to apply for a minor in Advertising and Public Relations at UNC-Chapel Hill's Hussman School of Media and Journalism. Upon opening my decision letter, I realized I had been accepted not for a minor but for a major in AD/PR. This was a pleasant surprise, but I was unsure of how I was going to fit the 41 credit hours for the degree along with my remaining Psychology credit hours into the three semesters I had remaining at UNC-Chapel Hill. Nevertheless, I saw this as an opportunity to challenge myself and put in work for topics that sparked interest in me.

Science and math have always been my strong suits, and I have always been fascinated by the human mind and behavior. I chose to major in Psychology because I wanted to learn more about how people think, feel, and behave, and to gain a deeper understanding of the complexities of human nature. I have found that studying psychology has not only been intellectually stimulating but has also provided me with valuable insights into myself and others. It has helped me develop critical thinking skills, empathy, and a greater appreciation for the diversity of human experiences.
